Nathan Kress BiographyNathan Kress is an American actor and a director. He is a former child actor starring as the role of Freddie Benson on iCarly, a Nickelodeon Series.

Kress was borin in November 18, 1992. He was born to Steven M. Kress and Rita Kress in Glendale, California. Kress started his acting career at the age of three and soon after landed the voice acting role of Easy the Chimp in Babe: Pig in the city. However neither of his two brother, Andrew and Kevin, are involved in show business.

Career and fame of Nathan Kress

After starting his professional acting career at the age of three, due to his natural talent, he quickly signed with a talent agent. In 1998, Kress voice acted in the movie Babe: Pig in the City as Easy / Tough Pup. Soon after he started modeling for different print advertisements as well as numerous commercials and voice-acting roles.  However at the age of 6, he took a break from acting to return to regular school.

Nathan returned to his acting career appearing in short movie Picked (2005) as young brother. Similarly, he voice acted for animated movie Chicken Littler (2005) for various additional role. Similarly, he appeared as Scott in a episode of House (2005).  In April 2005, Kress appeared in live television show Jimmy Kimmel Live! playing as young Simon Cowell of American Idol. He continued to appeared on the show in various comedy sketches on the show over the year. In 2006, he started his role of Eizan in Shuriken School, TV series.

Over the years, Kress appeared in various TV movie and TV series including Without a Trace, The Suit Life of Zack and Cody, Drake & Josh, Notes from the Under belly and Gym Teacher: The Movie. However in 2007 his career took a turn after he appeared as Freddie Benson in TV series iCary. Kress shared the scree in the series with Mirand Cosgrove, Jerry Trainor and Jennette McCurdy. Similarly in 2008 he voice acted in iCary (Video Game) as Freddie Benson. The young talent did not stop there and continued his carrer by appearing in Mr. Young (2013), Major Crimes (2014) and Sam & Cat (2014). In the same year, Kress he appeared as New Law in Video Game High School.

More recently, Kress played the role of Wedge Antilles in Star Wars Rebels and he voice-acted in 5 episodes throughout the series. In 2018, Kress appeared as Kyle in Alive in Denver. Though his recent work is the role of JJ Jameson / Hoverboard Man in Pinky Malinky.

Awards and Achievements

  • In 2014, Nathan Kress shared the Bet Ensemble Cast award at The Streamy Awards. He share the award for the movie Video Game High School (2012) with Josh Blaylock, Johanna Braddy, Jimmy Wong and other cast of the movie.
  • Similar,y Kress revived nomination at Kids’ Choice Award in 2012 for iCary in 2012. Moreover, he received different nominations at Young Artis Awards for the same movie.
